Snohomish County Council Public Hearings Meeting Minutes Council Chair Nate Nehring Council Vice-Chair Megan Dunn Councilmembers: Sam Low, Jared Mead, Strom Peterson Wednesday, February 12, 2025 10:30 AM Jackson Board Room - 8th Floor Robert J. Drewel Building & Remote Meeting CALL TO ORDER Chair Nehring called the Council to order at 10:30 a.m. ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that all five members were present. ACTION ITEMS PRESENT: Council Chair Nehring Council Vice-Chair Dunn Councilmember Low (remote) Councilmember Mead Councilmember Peterson (remote) Ryan Hembree, Council Staff Elena Lao, Deputy Clerk of the Council 1. Ordinance 24-115, dissolving Diking District No. 3 pursuant to 2024-3105 Chapter 36.96 RCW Chair Nehring opened the public hearing. Ryan Hembree, Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report. Page 1 of 3 Public Hearings Meeting Minutes February 12, 2025 Chair Nehring opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing. ACTION: Vice-Chair Dunn made a motion to approve Ordinance 24-115. Councilmember Mead seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the motion to approve Ordinance 24-115 carried unanimously. PRESENT: Council Chair Nehring Council Vice-Chair Dunn Councilmember Low (remote) Councilmember Mead Councilmember Peterson (remote) Cynthia Foley, Council Staff Elena Lao, Deputy Clerk of the Council 2. Ordinance 25-001, approving data sharing agreement with 2025-0181 Washington State Department of Health and providing authority to approve any future amendments Chair Nehring opened the public hearing. Cynthia Foley, Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report. Chair Nehring opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing. ACTION: Vice-Chair Dunn made a motion to approve Ordinance 25-001. Councilmember Mead seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the motion to approve Ordinance 25-001 carried unanimously. Jim Martin, Senior Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report and responded to questions. Chair Nehring opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing. ACTION: Vice-Chair Dunn made a motion to approve Ordinance 25-003. Councilmember Mead seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the motion to approve Ordinance 25-003 carried unanimously.
