VILLAGE OF SOLON SPRINGS Regular Board Meeting Notice & Agenda Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 7:00 pm Meeting location: Solon Springs Community Center 11523 S Business Hwy 53 in Solon Springs, WI 54873 7:00 p.m. Call the regular monthly meeting to order. 1. Business by Public If you would like to speak before the Village Board, please sign your name on the sign-up sheet prior to the Board meeting. Due to requirements of the Wisconsin Open Meeting Laws, only matters placed on this agenda may be approved by the Board at the meeting. Citizens may address the Board regarding items which require no action. There will be no separate action on these items unless a Board Member Board utilizing a single vote. All licenses approved are contingent upon meeting Village Code requests, and the Board approves. Communications are on file in the Clerk's Office and may be viewed in their entirety during regular office hours. 5.1 Approval of minutes for 5/26/15 regular board meeting and Board of Review Meet and Adjourn meeting minutes. 5.2 (r/f) Treasurer's report May (Profit and Loss, and Reconciliation Detail). 5.3 Approval of payments for General fund checking and Sewer fund checking; all listed on the Expenditure report dated June 30, 2015. (Please see 06/30/15 expenditure report for details.) 5.4 (r/f) Correspondence received since the May 26, 2015 regular meeting to be acknowledged and placed on file: a) Thank you note from Solon Springs Family Fun Days Committee for the $500 donation. 5.5 Approval of Zoning permit applications: a) Russell Stensland for new screen house over deck b) Douglas County Forestry for new shelter building, sidewalks, parking area, retaining walls and floating boardwalk at Park Creek Pond c) Theodore Lefler – new roof d) Anthony Burger, Jr. – addition to dwelling - renewal of permit #1897 5.6 Approval of Operators Licenses issued: Sierra Hartshorn, Michael Koskie and Jean Androsky for Dollar General and Timothy Koalska for JT’s. 5.7 Approval of Picnic License applications: Prevost/Williams Ball Tournament & Solon Springs Family Fun Days 5.8 Approval of Cigarette and Tobacco Retail Licenses issued: none 6. Business by the Board Page 1 of 2  Unfinished Business: a) Reminder - Board of Review date at next board meeting – Monday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. b) Salveson property update New Business: a) New truck discussion b) CMAR Sewer Report Resolution- a resolution of acceptance by the Village Board is attached for your review and recommendation of the Compliance Maintenance Report Resolution #2014-10. The report will be submitted to the DNR after the resolution, also required by the DNR.
