7.1. Mayor's Request Requesting the appropriation of $1,590,949 from the Unreserved Fund
(ID # 24-0964) Balance ("Free Cash") to supplement the FY 2025 Water Enterprise Fund
budget.

Director Bean explained that this amount represents the difference between
the originally proposed water increase and the adopted 0% increase and will
be used to provide revenue to backstop the FY 2025 budget.
President Ewen-Campen moved for reconsideration of the item. The motion
was not approved on a roll call vote of 0 in favor, 9 opposed (McLaughlin,
Wilson, Sait, Scott, Mbah, Clingan, Strezo, Pineda Neufeld,
Ewen-Campen), 2 absent (Davis, Burnley).
RESULT: APPROVED
