Village of South Amherst Board of Cemetery Trustees Meeting 6/14/2023 Meeting called to order by Mayor Leshinski Roll Call- Andrew Johnson, absent, Marilyn Makruski, and Rosemary Leshinski Approval of minutes: Leshinski motioned, Makruski seconded. Approval of agenda: Makruski motioned, Leshinski seconded. Visitors: Roxann Blair, Emil Ruth Discussion about the monument pads was had with Mr. Ruth and GoGreen Landscaping as to the quality of the work that was done. Specifically, absence of lot numbers that were to be placed on pad and there have been issues with the memorial markers rocking and not resting flush on the pad. Also, an agreement is needed to install pedestrian access to the cemetery from the church parking lot. Financial Reports: Leshinski motioned to approve and Makruski seconded Old Business: Contract with GoGreen for walkway access to the cemetery is needed. In addition, agreement is needed from the church for access. The sign needs to have a bracket fabricated to be installed on the pole. The cameras and the pictures are needed and Mr. Johnson has to be contacted to have those available for viewing and recording if necessary. Columbarium project on hold at this time. New Business: Additional monument/tribute for Wilhelm denied. In the event of severe weather occurrence, barrier to be placed at entrance and close cemetery. Godsey monument to be addressed. Follow up on Jessel emails. Former clerk available for training at 10-12 hours for new clerk. To be compensated not to exceed $500.00, Leshinski motioned, Makruski seconded.
