6. Consideration and possible action on a Resolution of the City of South Houston, Texas
finding that CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric; LLC’s application for approval to
amend its distribution cost recovery factor pursuant to 16 Tex. Admin. Code § 25.243 to
increase distribution rates within the city should be denied; finding that the City’s
reasonable rate case expenses shall be reimbursed by the Company; finding that the
meeting at which this Resolution is passed is open to the public as required by law;
requiring notice of this resolution to the Company and Legal Counsel
7. Consideration and possible action on a Resolution approving Mayor Je Soto to sign a
partnership agreement with Harris County Precinct 2’s Infrastructure Project.
8. Consideration and possible action to approve the acquisition of property rights for the
stormwater project located at 124 N. 3rd St., South Houston, Texas; authorizing the City
Attorney to take all steps necessary to acquire needed property rights in compliance
with all applicable laws and regulations; authorizing the Mayor of South Houston to
execute an agreement for the purchase of property rights and to pay $297,000 from the
ARPA fund to the Title company for closing with property owner(s)
9. Consideration and possible action to approve Mayor Joe Soto to sign the Subdivision
Participation and Release Forms for the Opioid settlements with Allergan, CVS,
Walgreens, and Walmart
10. Consideration and possible action to redline the following vehicles from the Police
Department: 2009 Dodge Charger 2B3KA43VX9H571297 (Shop 21), 2010 Ford Crown Vic
2FABP7BV4AX127476 (Shop 24), 2010 Dodge Charger 2B3CA4CV4AH304147 (Shop 25),
2016 Chevy Tahoe 1GNLCDEC9GR114641 (Shop 26) and 2010 Ford Crown Vic

11. Consideration and possible action on the minutes of the regular council meeting held on
April 11, 2023
12. Consideration and possible action on Finance Resolution No. 2023-08 authorizing
payment city vendors and contractors submitting invoices

hours proceeding the scheduled meeting time of said meeting.
The City Council reserves the right to convene in Executive Session at any time deemed necessary for the
consideration of confidential matters under the Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071-551.084.
