Consideration and possible action for the South Houston Economic Development Corporation to install 2,000 feet of 8” waterline and six (6) fire hydrants at 1st Avenue and Spencer going towards Palestine and Georgia. This is for the new business at 401 Pennsylvania and for the new business on Dumont. Project #204. Estimate $90,000.00. (First Reading). 7. Consideration and possible action for the South Houston Economic Development Corporation to install 300 feet of 8” SDR26 sewer pipe on the 400 block of Allen Genoa and Kolb Road. This will include three (3) sewer taps and three (3) manholes. This project will help a new business at the corner of Allen Genoa and Kolb Road. Project #205. Estimate $40,000.00. (First Reading) 8. Consideration and possible action for the Water/Sewer Department to redline a 2001 Chevy 1500 VIN# 1GCEC14W11Z103314 (W-93). This vehicle is no longer in service. The Fire Department to redline a 2010 Ford Expedition VIN# 1FMJU1F51AEB49261 (FD-21) and a 2010 Ford Expedition VIN# 1FMJU1F55AEB49263 (FD-23). 9. Consideration and possible action to cast a vote to appoint Directors to the Harris Central Appraisal District Board of Directors 10. Consideration and possible action to authorize payment of $66,575 from the City’s ARPA SLRF funds to CenterPoint Houston Electric, LLC for the relocation and replacement of poles for the City of South Houston Stormwater Improvements – Merilyn Ditch Project 11. Consideration and possible action on the minutes of the regular council meeting held on October 22, 2024 12.
