BOARD OF POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL NOTICE - AMENDED REGULAR MEETING MARCH 9, 2021 The South Milwaukee Board of Police and Fire Commissioners will meet for a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Senior Center located in the South Milwaukee City Administration Building, 2424 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172 AGENDA 1. Call to order/roll call. 2. Approval of minutes from the February 9, 2021 meeting. Police Department 3. Discussion / possible motion on request to make a provisional offer of employment to one police officer candidate based on the results of the written examination and panel interviews. 4. Discussion / possible motion on request for approval of appointment of police officer candidate contingent on successful completion of background investigation, medical/physical examination and psychological evaluation. Fire Department 5. Discussion / possible motion on a request from the Fire Chief to re-align the written test score used to establish the firefighter eligibility list. 6. Discussion / possible motion to certify the firefighter eligibility list resulting from the recent recruitment process. Discussion / possible motion on a request from the Fire Chief for authorization to interview and conduct background investigations on a sufficient number of eligible candidates from the certified eligibility list to fill the vacant firefighter position Other Business 7. Brief presentation of the organizational charts for the Police & Fire Departments by Chief Jessup and Chief Knitter. 8. Adjourn.
