PUBLIC WORKS & PUBLIC PROPERTY COMMITTEE Amended Meeting Notice November 21, 2023 TO: Alderperson Backes Mayor Shelenske Steve Petery Alderperson Bukowski Tami Mayzik Dan Ratajski Alderperson Bartoshevich Patrick Brever Chief Jessup There will be a meeting of the Public Works & Public Property Committee on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. in the Committee Room in the City Administration Building, 2424 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI. AGENDA: 1.) Call to Order/Roll Call. 2.) Discussion/possible motion to enter into a three-year contract with John’s Disposal Service, Inc. for the collection of the City of South Milwaukee’s recyclable materials with a total annual cost of $433,351.56 with increases in years two and three equal to or less than the consumer price index. 3.) Discussion/possible motion to enter into a three-year contract with Waste Management of Wisconsin, Inc. for the disposal of municipal solid waste for the City of South Milwaukee. 4.) Discussion/possible motion to authorize an emergency contract with EK Construction for the resealing of the stamped concrete on Milwaukee Avenue from 9th Avenue to 13th Avenue in an amount not to exceed $31,500.00. 5.) Discussion/possible motion regarding a Christmas tree for display at the Bucyrus Commons. 6.) Discussion/possible motion regarding removal of the pine tree at the northwest corner of 10th and Milwaukee Avenue. 7.) Adjourn.
