Adjournment Page 1 of 2  South Portland Civil Service Commission PO Box 9422 South Portland ME 04116-9422 Lee Harvey February 10, 2026 Minutes - regular meeting Chairman Community Center conference room District One Members present: Jabar, Schwartz, Cook, Borelli, Harvey John Jabar Members absent: Wannemacher, Maietta District Two Also attending: Robert Nadeau, HR Director; Kevin Gerrish, Deputy Police Chief Robert Schwartz Meeting called to order at 5:40 p.m. District Three Joseph Wannemacher Motion by Borelli to approve the 12/9 and 12/22 minutes. Second by Cook. Passed. District Four Vincent Maietta Communications: Scott Morelli could not attend due to a scheduling conflict. District Five New this year is a budget submittal form. $20,000 was requested - the same Donald Cook amount as last year’s budget. Commission attendance report will be submitted along with an annual report. At-Large Optional workshops and mandatory training date discussed. Katherine Borelli Discussion on the promotional process, testing and assessment center costs. At-Large Rob Nadeau to research less costly options. Lee Harvey Kevin Gerrish spoke about the recent police contract and the filling of vacancies. Next meeting - April 15 - 5:30 p.m. - Community Center Motion by Cook to adjourn. Second by Schwartz.
