MINUTES OF AUGUST 6, 2018
Mayor James Francis called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. on
Monday, August 6, 2018.

6) Citizens’ Comments
Ted Thomsen, 109 3rd Avenue South discussed the progress of the Southview
Boulevard project
Terry Pieper of the VFW Post #295 thanked the citizens of South St. Paul for their
patriotism and wanted to let the City know that he will be coming to the City
Council meetings with updates of news of events at the VFW located in South St.
Paul.

M. Approve contingent job offer to Cindy Bonawitz as a part-time (0.5 FTE)

Triggering Event Master Plan

MOVED: To adopt Resolution No. 2018-124, adopting the assessment roll for
the 18th Avenue Repair Project (2017-12).

10B) Host Community Agreement for Dawnway Landfill Amendment #2
Moved by Flatley/Forester
MOVED: To adopt Resolution No. 2018-131, approving Amendment #2 to Host
Community Agreement dated July 23, 2018, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute same.
