MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 16, 2019
Mayor James Francis called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, September 16, 2019.

Mayor Francis presented Bill and Mark Horst of Globe Publishing a proclamation
celebrating 100 years of business in the City of South St. Paul.

MOVED: To adopt Resolution No. 2019-127, certifying the Preliminary 2020
Property Tax Levy to Dakota County and setting a date for a Public Hearing on the 2020
Tax Supported Budgets and Property Tax Levy.

Certifying the Preliminary 2020 Property Tax Levy adopted by the South St. Paul

site plan for Development of the site at 285 Hardman Avenue.

10C) 1199 Concord Street So. ~ Exterior Storage/Above Ground Diesel Tank CUP
Councilmember Kaliszewski made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2019-134,
approving a Conditional Use Permit for exterior storage of trucks and a 5,000 gallon
above ground diesel fuel tank at the site at 1199 Concord Street South. The motion failed
for a lack of a second.

MOVED: To adopt Resolution No. 2019-134, denying a proposed Conditional
Use Permit for exterior storage of trucks and an above ground fuel tank.
