MINUTES OF JUNE 29, 2020
Mayor James Francis called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, June 29, 2020. Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 13D.021, under the current emergency
declaration, some or all of the councilmembers may participate by remote locations using
WebEx.

ordinance vacating a portion of former Brown Avenue located within the City of South
St. Paul.

9B) Second Reading – Ordinance Vacation of the Unbuilt Alleys South of Conver
Avenue

MOVED: To close the public hearing and adopt Ordinance No. 1360, an
ordinance vacating the alleys generally located south of Conver Avenue and West of 19th
Avenue North within the City of South St. Paul.

10A) Tobacco 21 Ordinance Amendment

MOVED: To continue the adoption of Ordinance No. 1358, an ordinance
amending Article 21 regarding tobacco sales to persons under 21 until July 20, 2020.

13D.05, Subd. 3(b) for a confidential attorney-client discussion of litigation and cost
risks, and negotiations to settle acquisitions under the power of eminent domain, for the
Concord Improvement Project.
