Moved by: Bakken/Hansen Moved: Approval of Resolution 2023-160 requiring the write-in candidates for City Offices to register with the City Clerk to have write-in votes recorded. JPA Dakota County – Absentee Voting Administration 2024-2025 Moved by: Kaliszewski/Podgorski Moved: Approval of 2023-161, approval of a Joint Powers Agreement with Dakota County to administrate mail-in absentee voting for the 2024-2025 election cycle. Vote: 4 ayes / 3 nays, motion carried. Council Members Hansen, Kaliszewski, Podgorski and Thompson voted in favor, Mayor Francis, Council Members Seaberg and Bakken voted against.
