City of Spring Hill, Kansas Minutes of City Council Special Session January 25, 2022 A Special Session of the City Council was called to order at 1:00pm in the Spring Hill Civic Center, 401 N. Madison, Council Chambers, Spring Hill, Kansas on January 25, 2022. Mayor Berkey presided with Glenda Gerrity, City Clerk, recording. Councilmembers in attendance: Diana Roth, Council President Brian Peel, via telephone Councilmembers absent: Steve Owen Vacancy Vacancy Staff in attendance: Patrick Burton, Acting City Administrator Cindy Henson, Chief of Police Lou Ann Armstrong, Finance Director Jackie Messer, Director of Public Works Consultants in attendance: F. Charles Dunlay, City Attorney INVOCATION The invocation was given by Council President Roth. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL Mayor Berkey stated that the city was informed by Councilman Owen that he was unable to attend the meeting and requested the City Clerk to take roll. The City Clerk called the roll of the City Council. The Clerk announced that there was not a quorum present. MOTION TO CONTINUE and ADJOURN the meeting Motion by Roth, seconded by Peel, to continue and adjourn the meeting to Wednesday, January 26, 1:00pm with all councilmembers compelled to attend, consistent with Kansas Law and Municipal Ordinance Section 1-201.
