THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board Meeting Minutes December 17, 2018 CALL TO ORDER Mark Squire called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL Present: Mark Squire George Eshnaur Tommy Holland Absent: Doug D’Albini APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Tommy Holland to approve amended agenda, seconded by George Eshnaur to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTIC IPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITE MS 1. Approval of Minutes: September 17, 2018 Motion by George Eshnaur, seconded by Tommy Holland to approve minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION  Fall Festival Event review – The daffodil bulb giveaway and hourly prize raffle was a success. Members agreed to continue with this format for Fall Festival in 2019.  Skate Park Request for Recommendation – Mr. Eshnaur volunteered to draft a recommendation from the Parks Advisory Board to be presented to the City Council at the January 24th Council Meeting regarding designating the tract of land owned by the City to the south of the Spring Hill Aquatic Center for future improvement as a skate and/or multi-use park. Mr. Squire advised this improvement to the land will require great care in the agreement between the group proposing to build the skate park and the City of Spring Hill.  Parks & Recreation Master Plan RFP is scheduled to be released in January 2019. STAFF REPORTS  Veteran’s Park grading of the playground site has begun.
