THE FOLLOWING MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO MODIFICATION AND ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES UNTIL APPROVED BY THE SPRING HILL PARKS ADVISORY BOARD Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board October 18, 2021 CALL TO ORDER Secretary called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Chris Cabe Katie Sparks Caitlin Downey Board Members Absent: Heather Dubon Tommy Holland Staff in Attendance: Jackie Messer, Public Works Director Gabrielle Kempf, Facility Manager PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Caitlin Downey, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the agenda with amendments. Motion carried. • Approval of 8/16/21 minutes • Rescheduling of November and December Board meetings to the 2nd Monday of these months CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS 1a. Approval of Minutes: 8/16/21 Motion by Chris Cabe, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the meeting minutes. Motion carried. 1b. Approval of Minutes: 9/20/21 Motion by Chris Cabe, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the meeting minutes. Motion carried. Rescheduling of November and December meetings to 2nd Monday of the month Motion by Chris Cabe, seconded by Caitlin Downey, to approve the rescheduling barring any conflicts with City calendar. DISCUSSION • Progress on Veterans Park Memorial will resume after election and meetings with donors. • Fall Festival was well populated and a successful event.
