Spring Hill Parks Advisory Board 2/28/22 CALL TO ORDER Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. Board Members in Attendance: Katie Sparks Heather Dubon Caitlin Downey Board Members Absent: none Staff in Attendance: Jackie Messer, Public Works Director PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL The Chairperson called the roll of the Parks Advisory Board. With a quorum present, the meeting commenced. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Heather Dubon, seconded by Caitlin Downey, to approve the agenda. Motion carried. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION None FORMAL BOARD ITEMS Approval of Minutes: 1/24/22 Motion by Heather Dubon, seconded by Katie Sparks, to approve the meeting minutes. Motion carried. DISCUSSION • Board vacancies may soon be filled. • In depth conversation was had regarding Veterans Park Memorial; board members offered suggestions for overall purpose and aesthetic design. STAFF REPORT • Board will review potential projects in Parks Management Plan after appointments.
