PUBLIC NOTICE
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Springfield will hold a study session on
September 12, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the board room at City Hall. Meetings of the Board
are open and the public is invited to attend. Study sessions are held by the Board of
Mayor and Aldermen for the purpose of exchanging information among Board members
and city staff. Formal action of the Board on issues discussed at a study session will not
be taken during the study session.
Discussion items for the September 12th study session include, but, at the discretion of
the Board, may not be limited to:
1. Irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of $53,400 guaranteeing street,
drainage, and electrical improvements in Autumnwood subdivision, Section 2
2. Resolutions and ordinances on 2nd and 3rd reading that have previously come
before the Board for discussion
3. Bransford Community Center Request for Proposal
4. Possible renewal of the Cornerstone Golf Partners management agreement.
5. Interlocal agreement with Robertson County for the Stokes Brown Library
6. Woodard Hall Parking Lease
7. Joint Services agreement between Springfield Fire Department and Cross Plains
Fire Department
8. Request from Rusty Fox related to property he owns adjoining The Legacy Golf
Course
9. Contract with Lose & Associates for the construction of a splash pad at MLK Park
10. JAG grant for the Springfield Police Department
11. Monthly report on the progress of the sewer collection system rehabilitation
work
