RECORD OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT CHARLES, MISSOURI April 10, 2012 ______________________________________________________________________________ The City Council convened in a Special Session on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, with President of the Council Michael Klinghammer, presiding, The Honorable Mayor Sally A. Faith and the Members of the Council present as follows: Dave Beckering, Tom Besselman, Laurie Feldman, Bridget Ohmes, Mary Ann Ohms, Jerry Reese, Ron Stivison, and Mary West. Absent: Michael Weller. City Clerk Laura L. Whitehead was present and performed the duties of that office. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND/OR COUNCIL ACTION A. Notice of proposed change to Council Rule 22(B) B. Notice of vote to suspend Council Rules as they may apply to Bill 10673 C. Notice of intent to remove Bill 10673 from the Table City Attorney Michael Valenti provided an explanation relative to the Notice of proposed change to Council Rule 22(B), Notice of vote to suspend Council Rules as they may apply to Bill 10673, and Notice of intent to remove Bill 10673 from the Table; and all items will be placed on the April 17, 2012 Regular Council Meeting. COUNCILMEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS Councilmember Jerry Reese announced the Prescription Drug Take Back Program will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Criminal Justice Facility located at 1781 Zumbehl Road; and to visit the City’s website at www.stcharlescitymo.gov for more information. Councilmember Jerry Reese reported a resident had contacted him relative to the outstanding response that was performed by the fire fighters/paramedics of the City of St. Charles Fire Department; and expressed his gratitude for a job well done.
