RECORD OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT CHARLES, MISSOURI February 23, 2015 ______________________________________________________________________________ The City Council convened in a Special Council Meeting on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, with Vice President of the Council Mary Ann Ohms, presiding, The Honorable Mayor Sally A. Faith and the Members of the Council present as follows: Tom Besselman, Laurie Feldman, John Hanneke, Rod Herrmann, Bridget Ohmes and Jerry Reese. Absent: Dave Beckering, Ron Stivison and Mary West. City Clerk Laura L. Whitehead was present and performed the duties of that office. File #48303 The meeting was opened with the Invocation, those present standing in a moment of silence, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. MESSAGE FROM THE VICE-PRESIDENT AS TO THE CAUSE FOR CONVENING THE COUNCIL IN SPECIAL SESSION Vice President Mary Ann Ohms announced the City of Saint Charles received a liquor license application requiring the City Council’s consideration/approval. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public comments. CONSENT AGENDA Approval of Liquor License Application for Midtowne, LLC, d/b/a Midtowne Market, located at 317 Hawthorn Avenue A motion was made by JERRY REESE to approve the consent agenda. JOHN HANNEKE seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken, with the following results: “Aye”: Besselman, Feldman, Hanneke, Herrmann, Ohmes, Ohms and Reese. “Nay”: None. Absent: Stivison, West and Beckering. Motion passed.
