The City Council convened in a Regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019,
at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street,
with President of the Council John Hanneke, presiding, and the Honorable Mayor Sally A. Faith
and Members of the Council present as follows: Tom Besselman, Bart Haberstroh, Rod
Herrmann, Bridget Ohmes, Mary Ann Ohms, Vince Ratchford, Jerry Reese and Mary West.
Absent: Dave Beckering. City Clerk Laura Whitehead was present and performed the duties of
that office.

A motion was made by ROD HERRMANN to excuse the absence of Councilmember Dave
Beckering. MARY ANN OHMS seconded the motion. All voted in favor, motion passed.

The President of the Council John Hanneke announced that the Public Hearing would now be

Verbal Update Relative to Various Road Projects (Administration/Engineering)
Director of Engineering Brad Temme provided a brief update on the following projects:
Elm/Sibley, Convention Center, West Clay, Cole Creek and Concordia Culvert. Mayor Faith
and Mr. Temme announced the upcoming Road Show dates and locations: Thursday, February
21 at Memorial Hall, Wednesday, February 27 at the Police Department and Wednesday, March
6 at the Public Works Facility.
