LANDMARKS BOARD AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING MARCH 16, 2015 LANDMARKS BOARD: Steve Martin, Chairperson Christine Berry, Vice Chair Gene Wood, Secretary Tom Kuypers Michelle Beucke Denise Mitchell Angela Schulte Cheryl Primm Tom Besselman, Council Liaison Mesdames and Gentlemen: On Monday, March 16, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application. Consent Agenda (A) Case No. C/A 2015-04(EC). 976 Lindenwood Avenue. Allen Hanner. The applicant is requesting approval to install a 6-foot tall wood shadowbox style fence in the rear yard. The applicant is requesting approval to build a Versa Lok concrete block retaining wall in the rear yard along the south property line. The applicant is requesting approval to build a 6-foot tall wood privacy fence in the rear yard. The applicant is requesting approval of a temporary banner and a window sign for the St. Charles County Historical Society. [Historic Downtown District, Ward 1] (F) Case No. C/A 2015-09(EC). 919 North Fifth Street. Lisa Bullock. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the porch decking on the rear porch. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. The applicant is requesting approval to make extensive exterior renovations, including replacing the siding, windows, doors, chimney and stairway. Ballmann Earthworks LLC. The applicant is requesting approval to demolish the circa 1960 house and garage. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 2] (G) Case No. C/A 2015-05(D). 207 North Kingshighway. Greg Rogers. The applicant is requesting approval to demolish the circa 1906 house.
