The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application. Consent Agenda (A) Case No. C/A 2016-63(EC). 320 Tompkins Street. Ken West. The applicant is requesting approval to install a 5- or 6-foot tall cedar privacy fence in the rear yard. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the trash enclosure. [South Main Preservation District, Ward 2] (C) Case No. C/A 2016-65(EC). 1821 North Fourth Street. Jeff Johler. The applicant is requesting approval to install a 4-foot tall white vinyl picket fence in the rear yard. The applicant is requesting approval to build a new two-car garage, finish the porch addition on the east elevation and enclose the rear porch. The applicant is requesting approval to replace a chain link fence in the rear yard with a 5-foot tall, khaki-colored, vinyl semi-privacy fence. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 2] (F) Permit No. 16-4981. 100 South Main Street. John Heinsz. The applicant is requesting approval of window signage for HSGW Insurance. [Historic Downtown District, Ward 1] 3. Items Removed from the Consent Agenda 4. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction.
