City Council

Special Council Meeting October 25, 2018 12:00PM Mayor Scott Schultz called the special meeting to order at 12:07 pm. Present were Council Members Kale Dankenbring, Amanda Milne, Dara Carmichael, and Larry Finley. Also present were City Superintendent JR Landenberger, City Attorney Mike Day and City Clerk Lila Whitmore. The Council discussed the Empire Motel and the opportunity for grant funds that may be available to assist with the demolition of the property. The deadline to file a grant application with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation is 5:00 pm on October 25 (today). A motion was made by Kale and seconded by Larry to authorize Clerk Whitmore to submit an application to the Hansen Foundation for ½ of the funding needed for back taxes and demolition of the Empire Motel. Motion passed. It was moved by Kale and seconded by Amanda to adjourn the special meeting. Motion passed. ________________________________________ City Clerk
