MINUTES of the JOINT MEETING of the TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE and TOWN BOARD February 27, 2024 CALL TO ORDER by Chair John Ringhofer at 6:00 pm STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE read by Chair Ringhofer ROLL CALL: Chair John Ringhofer, Teri Kelly, Mary Tyson, Theresa Johnson; Online: Anton Rang, Laurie DeRosier PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE recited ADOPTION OF AGENDA: MOTION to adopt the agenda (Kelly/Ringhofer). Motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Technology Committee Minutes of 1‐23‐2024: MOTION to approve the Minutes of the January 23, 2024 Technology Committee Meeting (Ringhofer/Rang). Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION and/or ACTIONS BY COMMITTEE 1. Ongoing Items  Google Drive/Shared Storage Solution: Google Drive update; Synology testing, discussed login and emails associated with it; will look into more with logins.  Password management o Password storage: Anton is working on a policy for password management. Discussed the need for the Clerk and Deputy Clerks to have access to the passwords.  Synology: Discussed Synology above.  Town Hall update: Town Board approved going to bid, which should go out next week. Board decided to do some things separately, such as ASI (AV equipment), Sunnylink (IT), etc. Looking into grant money for solar.  Review IT Budget: Nothing to review at this meeting. RECOMMENDATIONS TO TOWN BOARD: None ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA: Google Drive, sub bullet: Synology; keep everything else.
