MINUTES of the JOINT MEETING of the TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE and TOWN BOARD May 21, 2024 CALL TO ORDER by Chair John Ringhofer STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE read by Chair John Ringhofer ROLL CALL: Chair John Ringhofer, Teri Kelly, Theresa Johnson; Online: Anton Rang PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE recited ADOPTION OF AGENDA: MOTION to adopt the agenda (Ringhofer/Rang). Motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Technology Committee Minutes of 4-23-2024 Meeting: MOTION to approve the Minutes of the 4-23-2024 Meeting (Ringhofer/Kelly). Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION and/or ACTIONS BY COMMITTEE 1. Ongoing Items  Google Drive/Shared Storage Solution o Synology: John Ringhofer obtained the information on the Synology DS 420 Plus, 12 TB storage available. John discussed what he learned about Synology, such as active directory and security issues. Clerk will ask Tim W. to attend the next meeting.  Password management: This will be discussed at the next meeting. o Password storage  Spam Emails and Procedure: This will be discussed at the next meeting.  Town Hall update: Theresa Johnson discussed the updates regarding the Town Hall. Clerk will put the Sunnylink quotes into the drive for the next meeting. Theresa Johnson has asked AVI for a secondary quote for installing the TVs. Will put the AVI documents received into the drive for the next meeting. Discussed replacing the Town Hall laptop. Will have the AV people attend the July meeting.  Website Update: Clerk discussed the HeyGov module and activation. Discussed the status of forms and implementing them into the website.  Review IT Budget: Discussed the current budget. RECOMMENDATIONS TO TOWN BOARD: None ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA: Tim Whiteside attend meeting to talk about Google Drive/Synology, Spam Email, and Town Hall quotes. Will carry over the remaining items.
