/ Town of St. Joseph - St Croix County, WI Minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting St. Joseph Town Hall January 2, 2024 Call to Order by Chair Theresa Johnson at 8:03 am Statement of Public Notice read by Chair Roll Call: Chair Theresa Johnson, Dan Gavin, Chris Marshall, Bruce Paulson-Engineer, Ron Lahners- Contractor. Not present: Justin Kruse, Matt Moore Adoption of Agenda: MOTION to adopt the agenda (Gavin/Marshall). Motion carried. 1. Weekly construction meeting for the town hall: Bruce Paulson and Ron Lahners discussed the schedule, and current status of the building construction. 2. Discussion and action on upgrade or change to fire suppression system: Bruce Paulson discussed the different options available for the fire protection system. Discussed the requirements needed for the dry vs wet suppression system, as well as the differences and long-term maintenance between the two systems. Also discussed the possibility of filling the entire attic with insulation. Zac Spates, Fire Chief, present at 8:20 am MOTION to continue with the original plan for a dry system in the attic and the wet system on the first floor (Gavin/Marshall). Motion carried. This will be submitted to the State before the deadline and will be distributed to the Board. 3. Adjourn: MOTION to adjourn at 8:51 am (Marshall/Gavin). Motion carried. Minutes submitted by Teri Kelly
