City Council Regular Meeting

CITY OF STAR SPECIAL MEETING JULY 3, 2001 A Special Meeting of the Star City Council was held on July 3, 2001 at the City Hall office at 7:00 pm, Mayor Gussie O’Connor presiding. ROLL CALL: Benedict, Dias, Glasgow and Stegenga were present. ZONING ORDINANCE: It was moved by Stegenga and seconded by Dias that pursuant to Idaho Code, Section 50-902 the rule requiring an ordinance to be read on three different days, with one reading to be in full, be dispensed with and that Ordinance No. 59 be considered after reading once by title only. All aye: motion carried. Buxton, read Ordinance No. 59 by title only. Stegenga moved to approve as read including Exhibit A, Ordinance No. 59 - Zoning Ordinance, Dias seconded the motion. Roll Call: Benedict – yes, Dias – yes, Glasgow – yes, Stegenga – yes: All yes – motion carried. CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY – JUNE 2001 – Benedict moved to approve the Claims against the City as presented, Dias seconded the motion. Discussion. Glasgow asked about other bills and for the breakdown of the Advanta card. The Mayor stated that there may be other bills for the month of June and would be presented at the July 9th Council meeting. All aye: motion carried. ADJOURNMENT: Dias moved to adjourn the meeting, Stegenga seconded the motion. All aye: motion carried.
