Workshop Meeting Minutes
May 5, 2020
A workshop meeting of the Star City Council was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 8:13 pm at
Star City Hall, 10769 W. State Street in Star, Idaho, immediately following the City Council
Meeting.
Those present: Mayor Trevor Chadwick, Councilman Kevin Nielsen, and Councilmen Michael
Keyes and David Hershey, and Councilwoman Jennifer Salmonsen via ZOOM.
Staff: Shawn Nickel, City Planner.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Chadwick
Rosti Farms Discussion:
In attendance via ZOOM, were Adam Capell, Lyle Dennison-Swisse, Ryan Hammons, Susan Stanley,
Colin Smith, Sabrina Durtschi, Deb Nelson, Sam & Kari Rosti and Ryan Cantlon. All participated in a
discussion regarding the operational analysis of State Highway 16 in the Floating River
Intersection. It was determined that further conversation is necessary, with an emphasis on a
long-term comprehensive plan.
Adjournment: The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 9:36 pm.

COVID-19. The meeting can be viewed via a link posted to the City of Star website at
staridaho.org. This link will be posted on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Public input will not
be taken during the meeting. The public is always welcome to submit comments in writing.
