CONSENT AGENDA (ACTION ITEM) *All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Star City Council for reading and study, they are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion of the Consent Agenda or placed on the Regular Agenda by request. A. Approval of Claims Provided & Previously Approved 6. ACTION ITEMS: 7. ADJOURNMENT 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS with ACTION ITEMS: A. FY 2022/2023 Budget Hearing - A Public hearing pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002 will be held for consideration of the proposed budget for the fiscal year from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, in the amount of $14,396,119.73 with a proposed amount $1,730,572.00 coming from Ada & Canyon County assessed Property Taxes. The hearing will be held at Star City Hall 10769 West State Street, Star Idaho at 7:00pm on August 2, 2022. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted. Copies of the proposed Star City Budget in detail are available at City Hall during regular office hours, City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or to the hearing, contact City Hall at 208-908-5452. B. 2022-20223 Budget Presentation C. Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Tentative Approval Budget (ACTION ITEM) Thank you for coming to the Star City Council meeting, public involvement is fantastic and helps in shaping our city for the future. As this is a public hearing, there will be no cheering, clapping, jeering or speaking out during the hearing. Only the person at the podium has the floor to speak during their allotted time. If someone does speak out, cheer, claps, etc. they will be asked to leave the hearing and or escorted out of the hearing. We want to keep these hearings civil so everyone can be heard.
