City Council Special Meeting

City of Star Special Meeting Minutes August 17, 2018 The Special Meeting of the Star City Council was held on August 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Star City Hall, 10769 W. State Street, Star, Idaho. Mayor Chad Bell called the meeting to order and all stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: Councilman David Hershey, Michael Keyes, Trevor Chadwick and Kevin Nielsen were all present. Approval of the Agenda: Chadwick moved to approve the agenda, Hershey seconded the motion. All ayes: motion carried. Old/New Business: Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law for CPA-17-02 – The Mayor asked staff is they had anything to add; Cherese McLain stood for questions. Council had no questions. Keyes moved to approve the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law for CPA-17-02, Nielsen seconded the motion. Chadwick stated there were two letters, Pete Friedman and Nicole Basham letters of February 21, 2018 need to be added to Item I, Keyes amended his motion to add letters, Nielsen agreed and amended his second. All ayes: motion carried. Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law for AZ-17-05 & DA-17-02 - Chadwick moved to approve the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law for AZ-17-05 & DA-17-02, to include the two letters from Friedman and Basham, Nielsen seconded the motion. All ayes: motion carried. Reconsideration Order for CPA-17-02, AZ-17-05, DA-17-02 – Keyes moved to approve the reconsideration order for files, CPA-17-02, AZ-17-05, DA-17-02, Chadwick seconded the motion. The Mayor stated that part of this is approved part of it’s denied. The motion is to approve the order. All ayes: motion carried. Adjournment: The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 6:15 pm.
