Public Comments: Executive Session: Adjournment: Borough Council Meeting – September 29th, 2022  STEELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES October 11th, 2022 Present: Brian Proctor, President Willie Slade Michael Segina, Vice President Ciera Dent, Mayor Denae House, Pro Temp (on Phone) Natashia Woods Ryan Gonder, Solicitor Absent: Keontay Hodge, William Jones President Proctor opened the meeting at 6:42 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. President Proctor led the group in a Moment of Silent Reflection. Roll was not called; however, those in attendance are listed above. President Proctor stated there was an executive session related to personnel just prior to this meeting. Public Comments on Agenda items only: There were no public comments at this time. Unfinished Business: Mrs. Woods presents a contract from Keystone Municipal Services to provide a contact employee to serve as Interim Borough Manager at a rate of $115.00 per hour until the personnel committee can perform a job search. The contract would be for 30 hours per week until December 31st, 2022. Mr. Segina stated that finance reviewed the contract and utilizing these services would increase both the general fund and sewer budgets about $4000.00 through the end of the year compared to having the Borough Manager position filled with a full-time staff member. Motion made by Mr. Segina, seconded by Mr. Slade, to approve the contract between the Borough and Keystone Municipal Services. Motion passed unanimously. Public Comments: There were no public comments at this time. Motion made by Mr. Segina, seconded by Ms. Woods, to adjourn the meeting at 6:44 pm. Motion passed unanimously.
