Moved by Koski, Seconded by Ziarko, Resolved, to approve the agenda as presented.

5. REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER
6. ORDINANCE INTRODUCTIONS
A. Moved by Sierawski, Seconded by Taylor, Resolved, to introduce an ordinance
amending Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances to create a Sustainability
Commission. The motion carried 6/0.
7. CONSENT AGENDA
Moved by Koski, Seconded by Ziarko, Resolved, to approve the agenda as presented.

C. Resolved, to approve the Farmers Market Master Agreement between the city of
Sterling Heights and Lorene Laurence, 13359 Westminister Drive, Sterling
Heights, MI 48313 in accordance with City Code §2-227(A), authorize the City

Manager to extend the term four additional one-year periods, and sign the
Agreement on behalf of the City.
D. Resolved, to award the bid for auto and light truck parts to Brown & Sons Co.
Inc., 1720 Davison Rd., Flint, MI 48506, as primary, and Autowares, d/b/a Maxi
Automotive Supply, 50679 Design Lane, Shelby, Twp., MI 48315, as secondary,
based on unit prices bid for the period March 3, 2020 through March 2, 2021,
with an option for the City Manager to extend the bid term two additional one
year terms based upon unit prices bid.
E. Resolved, to award the bid for the mowing and maintenance of Hall Road (M-59)
and Van Dyke (M-53) to Green Meadows Lawnscape, Inc., 2359 Avon Industrial
Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, at unit prices bid for the period April 1, 2020
through November 30, 2022, subject to provision of funding by the Michigan
Department of Transportation.
F. Resolved, to award the bid for median and right-of-way mowing and
maintenance to Green Meadows Lawnscape, Inc., 2359 Avon Industrial Drive,
Rochester Hills, MI 48309, for the period April 1, 2020 through November 30,
2022, based on unit prices bid, subject to provision of adequate funding by the
County of Macomb.
G. Resolved, to award the bid for fertilization and maintenance of City parks to
Green Meadows Lawnscape, 2359 Avon Industrial Drive, Rochester Hills, MI
48309, at unit prices bid for a one-year period and authorize the City Manager to
extend the bid award an additional two (2) one-year periods, upon the same
terms, conditions, and unit prices bid.
H. Resolved, to reject the sole bid received and authorize the Office of Purchasing
to proceed with a re-bid for the purchase of the IComm Liberator IV
communication headset, ITB-SH20-016.
I. Resolved, to reject the sole bid received and authorize the Office of Purchasing
to proceed with a re-bid for street sweeping services, ITB-SH20-015.
J. Resolved, to adopt the resolution designating March 6, 2020 as Black Balloon
Day in the city of Sterling Heights.
The motion carried 6/0.
8. ADJOURN
Moved by Ziarko, Seconded by Schmidt, Resolved, to adjourn the meeting. The motion
carried and the meeting was adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
