APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion by Henig, supported by Marsh, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held April 19, 2018. Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. COMMUNICATION FROM CITIZENS: None REPORT FROM LEGAL COUNSEL Counsel reviewed and recommended approval of WCM Investment money manager contract, carried outside the Morgan Stanley umbrella contract and operating agreement. Motion by Varney, supported by Marsh, to receive and file reviewed contract from WCM Investment money manager and approve as reviewed by legal counsel. Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. One-Time $500 Payment for Sterling Heights Police Clerical Association Retirees Motion by Varney, supported by Henig, to receive and file the summary update for the one-time $500 payment for Sterling Heights Police Clerical Association Retirees showing payment due for the June 1, 2018 payout date to Linda Pierce. Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. B. Service Retirement Information for Denise Doyle, Court Clerk, 41-A District Court Motion by Marsh, supported by Henig, to approve the service retirement for Denise Doyle, Deputy Court Clerk, 41-A District Court, effective April 21, 2018 with service credit of 17 years and the monthly pension amount of $1,617.55, under Straight Life without annuity withdrawal based on a monthly final average compensation of $4,299.14. Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. III. NEW BUSINESS: A. Change in Retiree Status – Leonard Hendricks (Deceased) Motion by Varney, supported by Marsh, to approve termination of option B benefits for retiree, Leonard Hendricks, due to his death on April 11, 2018 and the preceding death of his spouse, Irene Hendricks. Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. B. Pension Administration Comments 1.Annual Update & Review RFP Status – Service Providers Varney pointed out that PA 202 of 2017 will require additional actuarial review which may impact the RFP schedule in future years. Motion by Marsh, supported by Henig, to receive and file the Annual Update and Review RFP (request for proposals) Status – Service Providers Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. 2. Proposed Fiscal Year 2018 / 2019 GERS Meeting Schedule Motion by Henig, supported by Marsh, to approve proposed Fiscal Year 2018 / 2019 GERS Meeting Schedule Ayes: All. Motion carried unanimously. C.
