MINUTES STERLING HEIGHTS HOUSING COMMISSION August 13, 2024 Call To Order by Vice-President Szatkowski at 6:14 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation. Roll Call. Present: Szatkowski, Taylor, Walker, Terry Late: Venetis Also Present: Executive Director Teresa Jarzab, Sabrina Bollinger, Director of Affordable Housing, LaKesha Calhoun Approval of Agenda as amended. Moved by Szatkowski, support by Walker to approve agenda. Ayes: All. Approval of Minutes. Moved by Taylor, support by Walker to approve the June 11, 2024, minutes. Ayes: All. Executive Director Report CFP Grant Amount $324,590, includes $15,423 High Performer Bonus Monthly Financial Reports. Moved by Szatkowski support by Walker to accept the Schoenherr Towers Operating Summaries Ayes: All. Moved by Walker support by Terry to accept the Voucher Program Operating Summaries. Ayes: All. Bollinger explained the difference in HCV available verses what HUD is currently paying. We have applied for additional funding. New Business 1. Monthly Management Reports. Moved by Terry, support by Szatkowski to accept the monthly management reports as presented by Fourmidable. Ayes: All. 2. Operating & Voucher Program Summaries (Register & Utility Payables). Moved by Walker support by Terry, to approve the housing assistance program register and utility payables as presented by Fourmidable. Ayes: All. 1 Agenda Public Hearing opened at 6:27 1. Moved by Szatkowski and Seconded by Taylor, to approve the Streamlined Annual PHA Plan and sign certifications, under Resolution 2024-08-1. 2. Moved by Walker and Seconded by Taylor, to approve 2024 – 2025 Budgets for the Sterling Heights Housing Commission Voucher Program and Schoenherr Towers Low Rent, under resolution 2024-8-02. 3. Moved by Walker and Seconded by Taylor, to approve the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan Chapters 1-10, under resolution 2024-8-03, under resolution 2024-8-03.
