Building-Wide Stats – FY2011 / FY2012 Board reviewed statistics. The Database/Website/Cat Searches are significantly lower this month due to how Facebook reports its statistics now. Donations Added to Collection statistic is from Memorial and Honor Book donations as well as items that are donated to the Friends and then librarians select them to be added to the library’s collection. So far this year we have had 954 items added to the collection through donations. The collection size continues to increase due to staff not having the time to weed as frequently. We also have more space for DVDs compared to the videocassettes we used to have. B. Monthly Issues – March 2012 Board reviewed the monthly issues report. C. Compliment/Complaint Forms Board reviewed compliments and complaints. We have had major problems with our Internet connection this month. Comcast has fixed the junction box where the line comes in and has also replaced the modem. We are still having speed issues and we continue to work with Comcast and the Cooperative to try to get this resolved. We know how important Internet access is to our residents. We are also receiving many positive comments about our programming offerings. Programs will continue with the Friends funding, but we may have to cut back on the number of programs. The Board wanted to let the staff know that they appreciate their efforts during these tough times. VI. Suburban Library Cooperative No report. VII. Friends of the Library A.
