programming continues to have good attendance.
B. Monthly Issues – March and April 2021
Board reviewed the monthly issues reports. Curbside and home deliveries are still
being used. Curbside will be moved to two parking spots in the parking lot
beginning in June to eliminate the traffic in front of the building. Home delivery will
be reduced to 3 days per week starting in June. The Overdrive magazines are now
available and will be funded by the Cooperative. There have been many staff
changes with retirements, promotions, and new hires in Technical Services and
Public Services.
C. Compliment/Complaint Forms
Board reviewed compliments. Compliments received for “best library around”, print
job using curbside and music purchase. Received staff compliments for the entire
library staff. Board reviewed suggestions / complaints. Complaint received about
timing of Toddler program in afternoons. It will be moved to the mornings starting
in the fall. Complaint received about one hour time limit on the public computers.
This will change starting June 1st and will be based on current MDHHS and
MiOSHA rules. Suggestion made to purchase a title. It was purchased.
VII. Suburban Library Cooperative
Cooperative staff assisted library staff with installation of new PCs for the public.
This will continue later this week as well.
VIII. Friends of the Library
A. Bookstore Report
The bookstore opened April 5th and is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 10am-7pm. There is interest in opening on Saturdays also if enough
volunteers can be assigned. A big thank you was given to the Library Board
members that volunteered to work at the Lakeside Pop-Up Book sale.

ribbon cutting for all of the city complex buildings will be in July. Board members
