To approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 21, 2023. B. To approve the proposal by Office Express (1280 E. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48083) for the remodel of Velocity in the amount of $89,218.59 – Glass Breakout Space, Conference Room, Conference Space – Furniture, Painting, Flooring, Wallcovering. C. To approve the proposal by Mando Construction (75 Lafayette Street, Suite 100, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043) in the amount of $10,113.60 – extensive drywall repair, remove/replace ceiling tiles Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried. New Business To Consider Approval of the Consulting Agreement between the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) and ReGroup Advisors, Inc. Total Compensation shall not exceed $260,000.00. Ms. Boyle presented the proposed renewal of the contract between the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) and ReGroup Advisors, Inc. The contract is the same terms as the last year contract with the exception of the not to exceed amount increasing to $260,000.00 to allow servicing more companies. Moved by Clark, supported by Balsamo to approve the Consulting Agreement between the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) and ReGroup Advisors, Inc. Total Compensation shall not exceed $260,000.00. Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried. To Consider Approval of the Consulting Agreement between the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) and Down’s Diversity Initiatives, LLC, a community and economic development consultancy specializing in program design and facilitation focused on real estate, entrepreneurship, and workforce development. Ms. Boyle presented the proposal to renew the annual contract with Down’s Diversity Initiatives, LLC. The terms are the same as the prior year’s contract. Moved by Pomaville, supported by Andrzejewski to approve the Consulting Agreement between the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) and Down’s Diversity Initiatives, LLC. Update – April Boyle, Senior Advisor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ms. Boyle provided information in regards to recent events and activity since the last LDFA meeting in March.
