STERLING HEIGHTS YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

The Sterling Heights Youth Advisory Board Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

A. Approval of 12/10/19 Meeting Minutes
● Maxymilian motioned to approve the minutes and Rohit seconded this
action. No changes were made.
B. Presentation and Discussion with John Myers III
● The board had a great discussion with Mr. Myers about how to improve
inclusion and diversity in the city, and what could be done to increase
volunteering efforts as well.
C. Break into Sub-Committees to Discuss Assigned Focus Topics
● Each subteam made plans to talk before the next meeting about what
ideas they want to focus on in specific.
D. Share 3 Ideas You Plan to Start Working On
● It was decided that subcommittees would submit to the vice-chair Miranda
the three topics that they want to be their main focus.
