APPEALS/PUBLIC HEARINGS 12.1 20-6623 PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND RULE VI, SECTION 2(b)(5)(b) OF THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEES SPECIFICALLY CONCERNING THE CITY OF STOCKTON INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (COSIP) Recommended Action: RECOMMENDATION Adopt a resolution to amend Rule VI, section 2(b)(5)(b) of the Civil Service Rules and Regulations for Miscellaneous Employees. The resolution requests changes to the minimum cumulative GPA requirement; provides more time for students to remain eligible to apply for full time opportunities after completion of graduation requirements; and reduces the required amount of time of continuous service interns must complete prior to applying for full time employment with the City of Stockton.
