Department: City Clerk Attachments: 2015-08-05 Minutes for Approval 3.2 15-2085 DISCUSS ORDINANCE AMENDING STOCKTON MUNICIPAL CODE 2.94 STOCKTON ARTS COMMISSION Recommended Action: RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the Legislation/Environment Committee discuss a proposed ordinance to amend Title 2. Chapter 2.94 of the Stockton Municipal Code concerning the Stockton Arts Commission, and make recommendations to the City Council. It is recommended that the Committee forward such revisions to Council for consideration and adoption. Department: Municipal Utilities Attachments: Attachment A - SMC - Redline Version Attachment B - ERP - Redline Version Attachment C - PCA Report 2014-2015 Attachment D - City Responses 2014-2015 Proposed Resolution 3.4 15-1921 CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 2.12 OF THE STOCKTON MUNICIPAL CODE ELIMINATING A CANDIDATE FILING FEE AND MANDATING THE ELECTRONIC AND PAPERLESS FILING OF CAMPAIGN FINANCE DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS AND STATEMENTS OF ECONOMIC INTEREST Recommended Action: RECOMMENDATION Presented for the Committee's consideration, review, and discussion is a proposed ordinance which would delete current section 2.12.010 of the Stockton Municipal Code, eliminating the $25.00 candidate filing fee, and add language to mandate the electronic and paperless filing of campaign finance disclosure statements by elected officials, candidates, and committees (Attachment A) and mandate the electronic and paperless filing of the Statement of Economic Interest by filers identified in the City's Conflict of Interest Code. It is recommended that the Committee forward such an ordinance to Council for consideration and adoption.
