City Council Retreat

CITY OF STONECREST, GEORGIA Honorable Mayor Jason Lary, Sr. Council Member Jimmy Clanton, Jr. – District 1 Council Member Rob Turner- District 2 Council Member Jazzmin Cobble – District 3 Council Member George Turner- District 4 Council Member Diane Adoma – District 5 CITY COUNCIL RETREAT MINUTES October 25 & 26 Facilitator was Joy Swinson Mayor Lary and all council members were present. Also present was Attorney Emily M. Preston, Michael Harris, Plez Joiner and Brenda James. The meeting stated at 9:15 a.m. Facilitator Swenson explained the ground rules for the retreat. She did proceed to review the City’s Vision, Commitment and Values from the last retreat and how well we had done with them over the last year. City Manager, Michael Harris gave an overview of the budget and staff request. Council had a discussion regarding the agendas. They would like to get the agenda before it is sent to the public. They would also like to have all items come to a Work Session before going on the Council Agenda unless it is a rush item. There was a discussion on items on the website that Council was not aware of.
