ROLL CALL: Ashley Sailor – Economic Development Associate at 6:11 p.m. Attendees: Ravonda Cosby, Dave Marcus, Shelbia Jackson, Thad Mayfield, Andrew Wells, Bernard Knight, Ashley Sailor, and Christian Green Absences : Christopher Seabrook, Jetha Wagner Quorum (Y/N) : Y III. PUBLIC COMMENTS: a. Public comments from Cory Johnson, Lorraine Johnson, and Ieisha Fuller IV. AGENDA a. Approval of Agenda • Discuss revisions to June 11 agenda b. Approval of June 11 and September 26 meeting minutes • Vice-Chair Dave Marcus wanted to amend the agenda to be read “July 11” instead of “June 11” and to add to agenda item b and to approve the September 26 meeting minutes. Motion seconded by Member Bernie Knight. Motion passed unanimously. • It was made clear that Bernie Knight is famous and not infamous as stated by Christian Green in  the September 26th meeting. c. Discuss the committee’s input to the Draft Economic Development Plan d. Discuss content of the committee’s report e. Finalizing committee report f. Review Economic Development Plan Survey results V. ACTIONS TAKEN Motion. Vice-Chair Dave Marcus made a motion to amend the October 10, 2023 meeting agenda by deferring agenda items d-f of meeting agenda. Motion seconded by Secretary Andrew Wells. Motion carried unanimously. Motion. Motion made by Vice-Chair Dave Marcus to approve meeting minutes. Motion seconded by Member Bernie Knight. Motion passed unanimously. Motion. Motion made by Chair Thad Mayfield to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Ravonda Cosby. Motion passed unanimously. VI. ADJOURNMENT a.
