STROUDSBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES, NOVEMBER 12, 2020 A special meeting of the Stroudsburg Borough Council convened at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 via Zoom.us with the following members present: Council President Anthony Lanfrank, Vice- President of Council Matt Abell, Council President-Pro Tem Erica McCabe, and Council Member Boyd Weiss. Also present were: Mayor Tarah Probst; Borough Solicitor Joseph P. McDonald, Jr., Esq.; Borough Manager Brian Ace, Jr.; and Executive Assistant Mary Pat Quinn. Council members Victoria DeVries, Jim Evanisko, and James Smith were absent. Consideration to approve a proposal from Blue Revolver, Inc. for holiday decorating on Main Street Michal Zarebinski, Executive Producer of Blue Revolver, Inc., was present to answer questions about the proposal. Lights and Christmas decorations will be installed by his company on both sides of Main Street between 6th Street and 7th Street from the first week of December until after New Years’ Day. The goal of the project is to spread Christmas cheer to small towns and will provide national media coverage to their client. Blue Revolver, Inc. will provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the Borough of Stroudsburg as additional insured. There was a discussion about coordinating the placement of the Veterans banners with Monroe County Veterans Association. A motion to approve the proposal was made by Ms. McCabe, seconded by Mr. Abell. The motion was carried. (4-yes; 0-no; 0-abstain) The meeting was adjourned at 3:20 P.M. on a motion made by Ms. McCabe, seconded by Mr. Weiss. The motion was carried. (4-yes; 0-no; 0-abstain)
