Consent Agenda - An ordinance amending ordinance number 146-98 as it relates to the Code of the City of Suffolk, Virginia, Chapter 66, entitled “Personnel”, in its entirety A motion to continue consideration of the ordinance to the December 17, 2009, City Council meeting. Public Hearing - A resolution authorizing the acquisition of right of way and temporary easements by condemnation or other means for the Prentis Street Extension Project and to authorize the filing of Certificates of Take Approved 7-0 11. Public Hearing - Street Vacation Request, SV03-08, submitted by Michael Haas of Lake View Development Group, LLC to temporarily close a portion of Lakeview Parkway totaling approximately 1, 200 linear feet (This item was continued from the November 19, 2008, City Council meeting.) Motion - A motion to schedule a public hearing for December 17, 2008, City Council meeting, to receive public comment on a possible lease between the City of Suffolk and the Suffolk Art League Approved 7-0 18.
