(This item was removed from the Consent Agenda for a separate

A motion to continue consideration of this item to the

8. Consent Agenda - A resolution to accept and appropriate funds for the Westport
Commerce Park Standpipe and Pump Station Project

9. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request
C20-10, Brentwood Road, submitted by Mary Jane Casey and Herbert C.
Haskin, applicant and property owners, to permit an accessory dwelling unit in

13. Motion - Consideration of an appeal of the Historic Landmarks Commission’s
decision to deny an after-the-fact installation of vinyl siding on a structure located
at 316 Pinner Street (This item was continued from the December 15, 2010,
City Council meeting.)
A motion to approve an after-the-fact installation of vinyl siding
on a structure located at 316 Pinner Street was approved by a
vote of 5-3. (Council Members Barclay, Bennett and Duman
voted in opposition.)
14. Motion - A motion to schedule a Work Session for March 2, 2011, at 4:00 p.m.,
unless canceled

16. New Business
A motion to direct the City Manager to prepare a motion for the
March 2, 2011, City Council meeting to request the
Planning Commission to initiate modifications to the
Suffolk Historic and Cultural Overlay District and provide City
Council with recommendations was approved by a vote of 8-0.
A motion to direct the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance to
repeal City Code Section 54-88 for the March 2, 2011,
City Council meeting was approved by a vote of 8-0.
