Adjournment 2 AGENDA: July 20, 2022, Regular Session ITEM: Special Presentation - 2022 National Night Out Invitation and Proclamation On Tuesday, August 2nd, neighborhoods and businesses throughout Suffolk will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 39th Annual National Night Out (NNO) community- building campaign that promotes public safety community partnerships. National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored locally by the Suffolk Police Department, involves communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, and military bases around the world, with millions of citizens participating in America’s Night Out Against Crime. Interim Media & Community Relations Director, Jennifer Moore, and Suffolk Police Chief Alfred Chandler will show a short video, inviting citizens to join them and other City and State Officials as they partner with communities on August 2nd to give crime a going away party. Mayor Duman will issue a proclamation in honor of the event.
