The applicant is requesting approval to install a 4-foot tall wood privacy fence along the top of the retaining wall in the rear yard. Jackie Lynch and Mark Huebbe. The applicants are requesting approval of a metal wall-mounted sign for the façade of SugarBot Sweet Shop and conceptual review of additional signs to be painted directly onto the side elevations. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. The applicants are requesting approval of the installation of wood shakes to the dormers and enclosed porch on the west elevation of the house. The applicants are requesting approval to replace the vinyl siding; storm windows; decking, steps and railing on the gallery; and the retaining wall.
