Suffolk, Virginia. Notice of Remote Policy Meeting pursuant to Section $2.2-3708.2 ATTENDEF],S: Chairman Brent Rowlands, Vice-Chairman Rev. Isaac Baker, Secretary Edward Roettger. Election Officer Consultant Les Ward, General Registrar Burdette LawT ence were present in the Registrar's office, Attomey Michael Lockaby was present by telephone. CLOSED SESSION: Rev. Baker moved that the Board convene in closed session pursuant to Section $2.2-3711 (A) of the Code of Virginia for the purpose ofdiscussing how to proceed with Arthur Bredemeyer. The motion was approved by a vote of3-0. Rev. Baker moved that the Electoral Board certify that only matters discussed in the closed session were matters conceming Arthur C. Bredemeyer as directed by Section $2.2-3711 (A) of the Code of Virginia, and as identified in the motion to close the meeting pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rowlands and it was approved by a vote of 3-0. OPEN SESSION: Rev. Baker made a motion to open the meeting for discussion and adjoumment. Mr. Roettger seconded the motion and it was carried by a vote of 3-0. The Board decided to wait until Mr' Bredemeyer's forged complaint numbers reached an amount that would cause him to have insufficient viable signatures to qualifu before removing him from the ballot. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjoumed at l0:45 a.m. The next board meeting will be held as soon as an insufficient number ofviable signatures is reached.
