Suflfolk. Virginia. ATTENDEES: Chairman Brent Rowlands, Vice-Chairman Rev. Isaac Baker, Secretary Edward Roettger, Election Officer Consultant Les Ward, General Registrar Burdette Lawrence CLOSED SESSION: Rev. Baker moved that the Board convene in closed session pursuant to Section $2.2-3711 (A) of the Code of Virginia for the purpose oldiscussing how to proceed with Arthur Bredemeyer with legal council. The motion was approved by a vote of 3-0. Notice of Remote Policy meeting pursuant to 52.2-3708.2 to council with Attorney Michael Lockaby by phone. OPEN SESSION: Rev. Baker moved that the Electoral Board certifu that only mafters discussed in the closed session were matters conceming Arthur C. Bredemeyer as directed by Section $2.2-3711 (A) of the Code of Virginia, and as identified in the motion to close the meeting pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. The motion was seconded by Mr. Rowlands and it was approved by a vote of 3-0. Rev. Baker made a motion to open the meeting for discussion and adjournment. Mr. Roettger seconded the motion and it was carried by a vote of 3-0. Mr. Brent Rowlands motioned to remove Arthur C. Bredemeyer's name from the November 2Q22 General Election based on an insufficient amount ofviable signatures from additional complaints received over the weekend. The motion was upheld with a majority vote of Mr. Rowlands-Yes. Mr. Rotteger-Yes. Mr. Baker-Yes. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjoumed al 12:20 p. m.
